I view products like these as a means of maintaining what hair I have, not a means of growing a thick head of hair. You'll never have the hair you had years ago, deal with it, anyone telling you otherwise is lying OR trying to con you with clever marketing. You might be able to slow hair loss down, but if its determined on falling out, it more than likely will.

Anyway, back to the product! My regime involves minoxidil (kirkland) twice a day and usually a good anti dandruff shampoo also daily. I now use this, the shampoo smells good and after lathering a 2 minute wait and rinse my scalp feels clean and lightly refreshed. This shampoo with leave your hair squeaky clean, resulting in what feels and looks like thicker hair (which is actually dry coarse hair as this product has no conditioner). At around �[] for three bottles it is the cheapest I've found, this product is typically �4-6 in shops.

I've been using Alpecin for 6 months.
I have hair loss in a typical pattern and wasn't that bothered about it but didn't relish the thought of having to start shaving my head.
I purchased Alpecin to prevent further hair loss and am happy to report that it works. An added bonus is that i now have a very fine, downy area of new hair to my previously bald patch. A downside is i also have very fine hairgrowth between my eyebrows !

I'm not suffering from excessive hairloss but after using this product for a good 3 weeks now, I don't really see a difference. Same amount of hair comes off in my palms as I wash it in. Leaving it in for the recommended two minutes also results in my hair turning quite dry and coarse, which might make it look thicker but really, it's just coarser and unmanagable. All in all, blah.

I seem to be a bit of an oddity here in the fact that I didn't recieve this item in a squashed box. The box was fine, as were the contents, and they made an excellent present. Easily a five star, does what it should do and it was loved by the person who got it. I will be buying from this company again.

Pros:

Very well presented and look like you could eat them.
Smell chocolaty before use.

Cons:

Very small (4cm across, 2.5cm deep), very inaffective. They hardly fizz. They just mainly sink to the the bottom of the bath and make the water go slightly cloudy/murky.
The smell which you get on opening the package does not translate into the bath when you disolve them. The smell is only very faint.

Overall:

For �1.45 for each bomb is a complete waste of money. We put a single one in a bath then topped up with 2 more as these are such poor quality. This didn't make much difference.
I would not recommend these. Instead, by a nice pack of cakes and pour a whole bottle of bubble bath in your bath. Believe me, it would be far more satisfying and cheaper.

I ordered these for a friends birthday, I have never bought an item from the bomb cosmetic range before so didnt know what to expect. They have arrived today and I am thrilled with them. They are in a lovely litte box that looks like a little chocolate box. Each item is beutifully made and they look absolutely stunning. When you open the box your hit by an absolutely luxurious smell.

Obviously I havent actually used them because I bought them as a gift, but They look and smell good enough to eat!!

I was brought this by a friend after I had asked her if she had had eye lash extensions as her lashes looked longer. She told me that she had been using rapid lash then got me a bottle. I am a therapist and I do eyelash extensions - BUT I don't need to wear them thanks to this product! Customers come in the salon and tell me they want me to do their eye lashes like mine...but mine are my own and look great because this serum has worked miracles! I will admit I did have good eyelashes anyway but now they are amazing. I'd recommend this product to everyone (except my clients that is!!!)

I've been using this product for the past 5 weeks and wow! First, it was the thickness of my lashes, then came growth. Over the past 2 weeks, I've started using it on my eyebrows too and again, wow. The hair strands are thicker and darker.

By the way, this source is cheaper (as a high street chemist is selling it a tad expensive.

I bought this product a couple of months ago, after around2/3 weeks my eyelashes were much longer and thicker and none of my eyelashes fell out when taking off make up as they sometimes do however after a about 5 weeks I noticed that my eyelashed seemed to be have become harder than they normally are and I was worried about them snapping so I thought I would stop using the product to see if they improved- result was that my eyelashes started falling out at quite an alarming rate and I now have big gaps where 4-5 eyelashes seem to have fallen out all at once right next to each other and this cannot be disguised by using mascara- in fact that just makes it even more obvious. Fortunately I can see the beginnings of lashes starting to grow back in the gaps so hopefully within a few weeks it won't be noticeable.. in the meantime will be investing in some false eyelashes!
This product is so expensive and there is no warning about these effects on the box but after searching on... Read more
